General Event Rules (Scroll down to the next section to see rules compliance)
· Be respectful to all players and their belongings, don’t be a dick. We are all here to have fun, don’t create issues because of your attitude.
· Play with intent, tell your opponent what you’re doing and intending to do, Roll dice where they can see it.
· Don’t be afraid to ask questions, if someone asks a question about your army, just answer it, don’t purposely not tell them.
· Don’t be afraid to call a judge over, we are all here to keep things smooth. If there is any issue its best to knock it out early before it becomes a issue. It becomes much harder to solve problems when a player waits until after the event or several rounds later.
· Keep a cool head, at the end of the day it’s just a game and we as players sometimes get too caught up in the game, don’t be afraid to take a few mins to cool off.

Terrain Rules
· Going forward chances are you will probably be playing with GW layout style terrain. Layouts used will usually be as follows;
· All Terrain is obscuring, and all ruins esc pieces of terrain, where there is walls and such are breachable with the exception of 5x10 pieces not being breachable and being movement blockers. These we will visually make it clear they are meant to be movement blockers.
· In addition to this change, we also consider all windows and doors to be solid and not see through.
· All ruins with the exception of the 4x6s are at minimum 6” tall(For Flying models going over) and go to the ceiling. 4x6 terrain pieces are considered 2” tall for movement purposes
Painting/Basing Guidelines & Hobby Track
· All bases must be the latest base size or whats allowed in the WTC basing Guide: https://worldteamchampionship.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/03/WTC-2023-Basesize-Document-11.03.2023.pdf
· All models must have at least 3 colors and if they have a base, have basing. Whether flocked with grass, slathered with mud, or hand drawn heretical symbols. Something. Not just painted black.
· Hobby track is something tracked by all events that is a score on how well your army is painted & themed. Its also another avenue of winning a prize for best painted. Rubrics used may change event to event but your models will be examined based on a variety of factors and having a display board for your army does help your score a lot. Hobby track is scored towards your ITC hobby track ranking.
Notable tournament FAQ updates
· Walls do not block LOS when targeting characters in close combat
· Will be following the WTCs take on damage modifiers (Such as Melta), in addition to GWs
· Walls do not block infantry models from charging into ruins, in this case you would have models fight through the wall, if not sure how many models would be in combat, grab a TO
· Going by the recently released FAQ for the GW championship
