High volume of orders
Currently I have a pretty high volume of orders on my plate, which some may notice delays in shipping, don't worry your orders are not forgotten. Its been a rough year and a learning curve so far with dealing with having the right kind of printers and getting things like LCD screens for said printers. I have 14 saturn 3 ultras, 10 are currently usable and for a bit there earlier this year i only had FOUR usable printers. Which got me super behind.
This is because the main LCD screen where all the magic happens is designed to be consumable so they go out, and they don't design them for print farming so they only last on average 1.5-2 months on constant use (Normal users who don't do what I do they will last usually a year). This is a issue with all resin printers that makes the cost of continuing pretty expensive(Also makes it very hard to find printers that have screens that last). That being said that LCD screen replacements I was buying from Ali Express (but still come from chitu systems, but arrive quicker then a month) were all faulty. Ton of money was invested into screens so I could keep going and they kept being garbage. I had to order more printers to keep going. However ordering direct from elegoo I found out I got there better screens because they work 100% of the time. xD So its been a huge grind catching up. Don't buy screens from ali express.
The gap is quickly going away and at the pace which im knocking things out soon there won't be delays anymore and as I keep going the time between purchase in shipment will be shortened.
Tariffs..
While I am U.S based out of WA state, generally most 3D printing related stuff and all the big companies come from a very specific country thats being targeted pretty hard on the tariffs.. China. I actually can't get new LCD screens until May 31st+. Elegoo and many others are having to adjust, which effects getting parts I need for printers. The main thing its effecting directly atm happens to be something i need the most, LCD screens xD. So time will tell on that front.
FDM Printing!
So while my stores are pretty much 98% resin printer based, since about september of last year I have been gathering up FDM printers, Bambu & its knock offs. As of right now I have 1 Bambu printer and 6 Flashforge Adventurer 5m printers. Majority of my time has been spent focusing on all the resin stuff but I have been trying to expand out into FDM stuff, which you will see in the stores in the form of bases & trays. Most of the time my FDM Printer Queue is quite empty, as even if I have 5 FDM orders they get knocked out in a day. So if you order any plastic bases or trays or have any other requests thats strictly plastic base, that Queue is WIDE OPEN. No delays and pretty quick turnaround time.
I am trying to expand that side of the business, just haven't figured out what sells and what doesn't terrain didn't sell at all so I removed them from the store, however feel free to contact me if you want some terrain printed or anything else!
Print Requests
Don't be afraid to message me about a print request, there is a lot I can print that I can't put up in the store, and if you have specific files of stuff you want printed we can do that to. Prices can vary but generally its going to be similar pricing as I price similar things in my stores and if I have to buy the files then I charge the cost of the files (Otherwise I lose a lot out of this transaction).
Its a bit easier to ask me in my etsy store as thats my main store and I can easily create custom orders through there. If I don't respond or reply back just poke me. I am working all day getting stuff out and get tons of messages and notifications so getting distracted or someones message being drowned out can happen. Just nudge me
Order Issues!
Mistakes can happen, USPS can be rocky with packages, things can get missed sometimes especially on big orders. Don't be afraid to reach out to me about it if you have any issues with your orders, I do not mind at all replacing broken bits and such from shipping or even things done on my end that I missed, I mass print stuff all day so sometimes bits decide to change piles! Either way I am willing to promptly fix your issues, you just gotta let me know so I can :)
Events
The thing I was more well known for was running Warhammer 40k RTTs & GTs a few times a year, currently I have no plans on hosting any this year. Losing the hotel venue in Olympia really made it quite difficult trying to host as it would cost too much on top of all the time it eats for me to make them happen and fun. That aside even if I did have a venue, currently with this 3D printing business I haven't had the time to go to events, host events or any other hobby stuff. This business is still in its infancy and its been quite the work :). In time maybe in the near future I might start doing some small store events, which I will announce ahead of time. However atm my entire focus is the stores.
